Only showing first page of chapters and repeating pages

I just downloaded a book and its only showing the first page of many of the chapters. When I reached the end of the first chapter (if it's even in the right order) it repeated the same page numerous times. From there the next 4 chapters were only the first page of each chapter. Is there any way to fix this? What is causing it? I have closed iBooks numerous times, I have restarted my phone a few times, each time it is the same though.
